Apple is killing Aperture, and replacing it and iPhoto with new Photos app

I was sad that I heard that Bibble had been bought out and discontinued, but then I realized that AfterShot Pro is just Bibble renamed. But funnily enough, I actually prefer the old Bibble to AfterShot, personally.

The best scenario would be

  1. All the Aperture functions get incorporated into Photos.app. The development of the product continues to take into account the needs of professionals.
  2. Someone at Apple has a serious chat with whoever decided that “Aperture is kaput”, was the best way of explaining the merger of Aperture and iPhoto.
