I feel crapulence is better suited. It has a nice ring too it if inaccurate.

And a wonderful utility word at its core! Like ‘stuff’ and a few others. I admit I kinda love those - can form any part of speech, meaning dictated entirely by context, and a near-endless array of prefixes and suffixes so nice that you can even stack them up.
