It’s not well known, but there were lyrics to the Dick Van Dyke Show theme, written by Morey Amsterdam. Never used on the show, but you can hear them here.
Dick Van Dyke had this to say about dancing at an advanced age, “I asked Fred Astaire once when he was about my age if he still danced, and he said ‘Yes, but it hurts now.’ That’s exactly it. I can still dance, too, but it hurts now!”
