I could hardly read that post, because of the delightful ‘thinky’. No ponderous and professorial, grinding, hardworking, spoilsporting thoughtful. Ha! thinking is no officially fun.
A good couple documentaries to watch are: A Century of the Self; All watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace. Both by Adam Curtis of the BBC.
A good seven hours of viewing but very informative about the functioning of markets and politics etc.
