Keep up the good work, Ed. We are finally getting to the point where I finally got exposed to rap. I grew up in a smaaaallll town in Kansas and I didn’t have a VCR or cable. We lived like savages, really. But the Fat Boys some how made it into our music classes record collection, as well as DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince. Eventually some of the older kids let me listen to the their RUN DMC tapes. When Licensed to Ill finally came out EVERYONE had that tape and we played it ALL. THE. TIME.

Since then, I’ve gone back to some of the older stuff, and really enjoy DJ mixing and break beats. So I’m sort of reliving non-nostalgia with your series.
