I would have been in big trouble back in '69. My dad was often disabled and I used to work over 40 hours a week at night while going to high school full time during the day. I once mentioned it to one of my daughter’s teachers who said, “well, you certainly couldn’t have learned anything doing that.” I told him he was wrong. I learned how to work. It turned out that was the most important lesson you need. I took a company public and retired at 50.
