The first time I heard that cover of Sally's Song, I had to completely reevaluate my opinion of Fiona Apple (for the better). Prefer the Elfman, "This is Halloween" though.

Yea, to me a "wonderful cover" completely reinterprets a song - like Feliciano singing Light My Fire, or Devo doing Satisfaction. This version is so faithful it could be mistaken for the original.

Though in most cases I still prefer the originals, he is one of the few people out there who does consistently good covers.
