There’s a really great national geographic documentary (which is on netflix) where they put a radio collar on a mother raccoon and follow her around with her kits.

The bottle-fed orphan that I had as a kid climbed just fine on it’s own once it was old enough… I guess that I sort of taught it because it would follow me up the trees, but I sure don’t climb like a raccoon.
