Wonderful–another reminder that the first film was basically an hour-long episode stretched to more than two hours by unbelievably long space sequences.

I found the cuts in the music jarring, but I guess if he had just replaced the soundtrack whole, all the sound effects would be missing. Give me a microphone… pew peww!

With the sound off, it’s like a super high resolution version of the Star Trek After Dark screen saver I had on my Mac in the very early 1990s.
