The Libet experiment: is free will just an illusion?

Wait, Free Willy wasn’t real?

Using the confused and squishy rhetoric of religious philosophy, you’ve just made a space for the next question: do you think the “one” has free will, and how do you begin to answer that question (either way) without losing your grip and taking a swan dive into a soup of ideas that have no useful grip on reality? It always seemed to me that the spiritual universe ends up being much more mechanistic or reductionist, simply by asserting things that are limited by human undertanding rather than the universe.
