I enjoy a good fart joke! I just can’t seem to come up with any appropriately L.A.-themed jokes at the moment, and was hoping to see a few good 'uns.

I wonder how they account for methane release as a result of lying atop the Los Angeles basin oil fields? I imagine there are a lot of old wells that were not properly sealed from back when drilling in Los Angeles and the nearby surrounds was common.

Anybody know how the heat trapping effect of those amounts of methane compare with the heat trapping effect of the Carbon Dioxide found in the LA basin?
