As an aside, the fracking doesn’t do much land damage. The roads though, oh my lord they are ugly, cause erosion, and destroy a lot of habitat.

How about the salty/chemical water coming up and killing grasses and being undrinkable by wildlife and people? (Serious question, not snark. If it’s a myth, please debunk it and set me straight.)

Part of my point includes looking for such events near every. single. wellhead. I;m sure there are examples of localized damage to the landscape as you describe. Most of what I have seen is just roads roads roads.

Collect all that informatuion for every well / wellfield and let the data, which doesn’t exist yet, speak.
