Someone in the other GMO thread invoked Eric Hoffer on mass movements, except he didn’t seem to remember it very well.

Hoffer said that mass movements require a large dose of “make believe” to bind it together.

I said that by your standard there was no way to disprove the TPOTEOZ, not that you believed them. Which is why your so-called reality can be overthrown by any random huckster.
