Parochialism is a thing: if speakers of that language arenât interested, the page wonât be big. His wiki.es, wiki.it, and wiki.fr pages are even shorter. The real test is to look at his wiki page in his own language.

Fucking hell. This is a loss for all of humanity. For those who think it will not affect them I will present the example of an ancient variety of German lentil which was thought lost until it was found in the very St. Petersburg seed bank we are talking about above and now forms a not insubstantial part of an otherwise rather poor farming regionâs premium agricultural output.

Do you think heâs merely wrong in the sense of being ignorant of a statistical matter and failing to correct it before press time; or working on the implicit understanding that Swedes in Finland are either to be understood as free-floating expats in the Schengen area or simply not to be seen as sufficiently outside the majority to even be a minority(much as, in the US context, âIrishâ is generally not seen as something youâd call out as a minority group these days); while Russians are sufficiently other to qualify as a Finnish minority group?
