Better to pay a few bucks extra and find the solar versions of this type of lantern, which are also readily available on Amazon. Most of them can also run off of AA batteries. The other thing about them is that they are better for enclosed spaces, as the LEDs in the above models are too damned bright. The solar models have the LEDs behind a frosted diffuser, which makes the light much more usable/less harsh.
