That’s really neat, but I think it’s a bit outside of my ability. I took my nephew on a bat safari on the River Cam a few years ago, and he had an amazing time. He asked for a bat detector for Christmas, and I was astounded to see how expensive they are. The ever-weird Haynes does make a kit for about £20.
