pretending BitCoin or any of its spin-offs that change the name but not the fundamental rules of the game would be an improvement over the current situation is deluding yourself.
AFAIC, Bitcoin isn’t a replacement for currency in every case. It’s more of an investment. Then again, people trade in currency all the time and lose their asses there as well.
I guess I just don’t understand all the angst against Bitcoin. If you don’t trust it, etc. - don’t invest in it.
