I think between the two of you, you’ve essentially proved that any currency of any sort is inherently unstable as a store of value.
I actually mean that in a positive sense for both. Neither crypto-based decentralized tokens nor centrally-managed currencies can force people to “rationally” value all things at all times, and neither should be expected to be able to.
