It never should have been translated as ā€œretardedā€ since there basically canā€™t be a word in Persian that means what that means in English, itā€™s too culturally loaded.

Still, the correct translation given in the article is basically the same thing without using a pejorative term, isnā€™t it? I donā€™t see how it isnā€™t equally insulting.

Under the circumstances, I think it is safe to say it was meant to be insulting, so, maybe?

As Iā€™ve said before, accountability is for suckers. And Democrats; but then, I repeat myself.

First of all, fuck this guy with his own steel-and-barbed-wire border fence.

Second, what the hell is ā€œslavedomā€, besides possibly an ugly kind of fetish porn that heā€™s obviously completely into?

He somehow got even worse.

Hell yeah. Good job, SCOTUS.

The Presidential Appointee Accountability Act would empower OSC to hold senior political appointees accountable by:

  • Expanding the Office of Special Counselā€™s (OSC) authority to pursue accountability for Hatch Act violations against high-level presidential appointees before the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB) without running afoul of the Appointments Clause;
  • Permitting the MSPB to impose a fine of up to $10,000 per Hatch Act violation;
  • Requiring OSC to provide the President a written complaint outlining appointee Hatch Act violation(s) and recommended remedies, up to and including termination, and to make such statement available to the public; and
  • Requiring the President to issue a public response within 30 days explaining whether he or she will follow the recommendation, and if not, providing an explanation for their lack of response.

The last time I felt this pessimistic about the future was November 9, 2016.

Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Thomas have got to go. Iā€™m sending them an all-expenses paid trip to a sausage factory in the hope that they will ā€œaccidentallyā€ fall into an industrial meat grinder, be made into ballpark franks, and be eaten and shit out by red-blooded 'Muricans attending the 2019 World Series.

The bill to empower the MSPB allows a $10,000 fine and a ā€œrecommendationā€ to their boss? Whatā€™s the current punishment, a back massage and a kiss good night? Jesus.
