I didn’t mean a dog’s person has to stay at home all day every day but leaving a dog for 9 or 10 hours (or more) isn’t fair to the dog. Why have a dog? I hope there are after work walks. Maybe there are evening dog training, agility, etc.classes they can participate in or on weekends. I would definitely question the “professional trainer’s” methods.
