The guy (Rousseau) who got the “black char” was the same guy who figured out that polywater was sweat. How do you jump from that to saying that he never “checked it out”?
I’ll admit, I didn’t read his paper. The article didn’t mention analyzing it, and implied that the avenue used to reach his conclusions was separate train of though. Perhaps he did, I don’t know, that’s why I said “apparently.”
