The current right-wing noise is as follows (I Am Not Making This Up™): “Britain’s government, in their ongoing attempt to institute sharia law over all Britons, has arrested working class hero Tommy Robinson for livestreaming the trial of Muslim genital mutilators who are going to get a wrist-slap for cutting off little girls ladyparts because they are Muslim”.
I had to talk a co-worker off the crazy train on that one yesterday, and it was hard, even though the guy is educated and intelligent and not a fan of Trump. The anti-Muslim right is very effective at propaganda.
