I’m going to go with David Brooks. I thoroughly expect him to do some hand-wringing about how immoderate this whole affair was, and what a shame that both sides are so gosh-darned outspoken and heated nowadays. Obviously both those screaming racist insults and those being insulted are equally at fault. Why can’t everyone just calm down - starting with the people being insulted?
