That’s a trap. You’re blaming an industry that was created out of those anxieties, not a set of anxieties that were created by the industry.
Of course those problems are now perpetuated and amplified by the industry. But you won’t cure that anxiety by stopping cosmetic surgery – its roots lie elsewhere in society.
