And he could probably sue for that, except that parody is a protected form of speech, unlike what you’re discussing. It doesn’t follow that actors have no rights to control their image publicly. The problem is celebrity culture, not acting. They are still human beings, who are generally NOT involved in politics, or trying to overthrow the country.
I doubt it was women who built the industry or who have primarily benefited from it either. Like almost all other industries, it was dominated by white men for their benefit. The entire film industry was shaped for the male gaze. And that trickled down to how most women are expected to look. In modern times, it is often industry driving cultural ideas about looks, not the other way around.
