The straight shot from Chicago to Huntsville is through Louisville. Louisville’s a nice enough town. Then you can go over to Cincinnati if you really want. I like Cincy, I’ve spent a lot of time there, but is it really worth a special visit? Maybe if you have time to kill.
You will also pass through Nashville. I haven’t spent nearly as much time there as I wish I had.
