I’m somewhat intrigued, but it does sound like a ripoff of the Cybernated Blancmange Prodder.
Which, to be fair, was a subsequent development of the Thermionic Tapioca Tickler once integrated circuits became available commercially and the Transistorised Custard Puncher had proved to be a dead end.
