Reminds me of my brother, he would often sneak out at the age of 13 and borrow the car and drive up and down our alley and got a good feel for it.
That came to an end though when one day our mom called home to get picked up 'cause our other car had broken down. My dad and I walked out to the driveway to find there was a certain lack of a vehicles present! No cell phones at the time either…
5 or so minutes later he came casually cruising in to get quite the shock, the pale look on his face as he saw us standing there at the top of the drive was priceless!
The farthest he went though was like a 15 mile drive to the next biggest town on some other trip! Quite gutsy!
