Living in Reno, the Johnson-Jeffries fight is a HUGE moment in the city’s history, but it really needs to be memorialized more here. Reno wasn’t super old when that fight happened. i love looking at footage and photos from that fight, both in the ring and from around town. i have a crazy photo of how, in order to see the fight from outside the ring, people had scaled telephone poles and are standing on the cross-bars. it’s insane.
