and notably they won’t even if you/we/everyone does bow down
they’ve already proven they’ll hurt people of color, pregnant people, trans people, gay people - married and otherwise - even in the rare instances where someone included in one ( or more ) of those groups does actually support them ( log cabin republicans have entered the chat )
cruelty is the point. and they’re happy being complete @#&holes to each other. it makes their day
