Without wanting to derail the thread, and without wanting to suggest that you are necessarily wrong, I would just like to point out that’s a pretty weak argument. Surely the onus is on you to provide a newer citation showing that conditions have improved? You can’t just say “oh that was four years ago, I’m sure things are fine now.”
Labour conditions in China are bad everywhere, in fact poor labour conditions constitute pretty much the entirety of China’s competitive advantage in international markets. Nobody should believe that Foxconn has risen above that without strong evidence.
