Apple investigated by CBC News over Genius Bar repair policies and pricing

Ive been using Apple products since the mid 80s. It was in the mid 90’s, just a decade later, that I noticed some very bizarre practices by Apple. It is true that they play, are unfair, lie—take your pick—to consumers about their products.
Take for example the fact that my Japanese friend has to go there time and againa and each time he goes he gets a different story, albeit with different costs and amounts ‚ as to how much this or that repair will or will not cost him. I feel bad for him because he believes them, and so they are basically fucking with his mind, and his wallet. Unlike him, I’m disabled, and a monk, so I dont have a 40, 60, 70, or 140k a year income, I have to buy products that are repairable. My last purchase is still fine, it’s this ipad that I am writing on, but not so for my other computer, which seemed to have issues just right after the one year warranty expired.
Apple is the wolf in sheep’s clothing, as the maxim goes, so we should be showering fewer praises until they decided to stop mucking around with us and our money.
