Jennifer Rubin predicted TFG may, as an October surprise, swap Vance for Kennedy. It does check boxes for him, he’d love the media attention and he loves firing people. The Kennedy clan are the sort of “Elites” he could never win over, so having one of them serve under him would be gratifying, even if Rfk Jr is a particularly batshit representative of his family. And with Vance off the ticket, nobody could claim the Trump Kennedy campaign was weird
