I’d expect it to eventually work out how to do a consistent stride.

I expected perfect QWOP strides too. Maybe it’s actually not possible! I’ve never seen anyone achieve a non-flailing QWOP stride, though i’d always assumed that if you played perfectly you’d chug along seamlessly.
