A quick back of the envelope calculation. Pardon my mixing of units.
The bags in the picture are 1000kg bags, or one ton. Roughly 1 cubic meter (so probably prilled, with a poor packing ratio). They are stacked 2 high.
3000 tons then would occupy a volume roughly equivalent to a small warehouse. So the math works.
