Mod note: having an issue with a position or an opinion is absolutely fine. When that expands to your opinion about a person, their tone, or their perspective, that is a slight against the person.
You want to take issue with the prevalence of an opinion or way of thinking? Fine, do that. You want to tell someone else how they are thinking or what their perspective is? Nope.
