When this happened - I agreed with the CDU chancellor - I knew the world must have changed in a way I couldn’t comprehend. Now, Bush.
I can’t say I don’t doubt myself every day if I accidentally became a conservative. But it seems I haven’t: the conservatives aren’t what they used to be any more.
And, come to think, even the Aythollah and the pope seem more sane than the strange beast which is my neighbour.
