I’d have to disagree. The Beasties ended up looking to some people like money-grubbing control-freak anti-feminists, and GoldieBlox ended up looking like disingenuous manipulators and/or disrespecters of IP and the desires of the Beasties to keep their music away from commercial exploitation.
Nobody came out smelling like a rose, and even the dumbest would-be conspirator should have realized that this would cause people to take sides against either GoldieBlox or the Beasties.
