Beastie Boys open letter: "threat" was just a misunderstanding

According to Lego, 90 percent of Lego’s consumers were boys in 2011, but that dropped to 75 percent after the launch of Lego Friends (link). It may be that girls are getting into the Lego Friends sets and then moving on to the other sets, but they would still see how different the characters are in the different lines.
