Still USB, just different port design. The ultra paranoid seal up their USB ports. Unfortunately you can’t charge a new Mac if you do this…

The new macbook has ports, as has been pointed out. Take a gluegun and fill in your ports if you’re worried about this attack.
With a tip of the hat to the evil customizations, basically a customised Rubber Ducky or LAN Turtle without the port. Note both these devices can be customized to present themselves as arbitrary USB device types.
Well, I guess because I’ve been using an iPad with keyboard for years now, it shows how little I actually care about laptops.
