Tom Harrington and I were both employees at Fantagraphics in 1992 when he wrote this and I figured out how to draw it. He was a writer for AMAZING HEROES, and I was a new cartoonist in Michael Dowers’ Starhead Comic’s stable. It was early work for both Tom and I, but I’m still happy with the results.
