Half a hit for me - after having been introduced to it recently, I’m still ruminating over the concepts of immortality projects and terror management theory. Admittedly, I haven’t been able to read Becker’s work so I have no rigorous insight yet. That having been said, my recent thinking has been informed by Wojick’s The End of the World as We Know It, which seems to support the immortality project concept.
