If anyone wants to help with the digitisation, there’s a volunteer site at Distributed Proofreaders, www.pgdp.net
It’s organised so that the proofing and formatting is done one page at a time, so if you don’t have much time you can just do one page per day. A lot of the stuff that goes up is 19th century, but there’s some older stuff too; I’m looking forward to the Discoverie of Witchcraft, 1584, going onto Project Gutenberg soon!
