A dissolution of Parliament isn’t the only outcome of a VONC in the Government. The first question is can a government be formed that does have the confidence of the house?
I’m also hearing a 'humble address ’ being mooted - that is a message from the house to the Crown, along the lines of ‘Accept Johnson’s resignation now’.

Sorry- that was perhaps a bit unclear- The news reporters are getting frustrated at trying to explain something that is changing so rapidly their sources are out of date before the video goes live.
