I’ll be honest.
At this point, other than certain brands who have a clear and outspoken connection to high-level Republicans, I presume that when someone is calling for a boycott, it is because they are attempting to manipulate the corporate stock of the company and/or their competitors. Almost every single one of these insipid boycott requests ends up being completely and utterly baseless when you actually get into the details. (I mean, other than “this company bribes politicians of both sides because it needs that access to continue it’s business plans. Because politicians suck and that’s how you bribe them, otherwise your business is going to suffer.”)
