My Dad used to make mobiles like this with my sisters and I all the time when we were little, but you don’t need a dedicated kit at all - cotton thread, various thicknesses of wire, and any counterweight shape you like - cardboard, LEGO bricks, food, etc - and some scissors and pliers are all you need. And if you’re starting from scratch, rather then a predesigned kit, you’ve got a lot more flexibility of end result, too.
