All good sir. I am, of course, well aware of this and heart you guys and a lot of things about America muchly. I just take my trolling career very seriously so when someone pokes the hornets nest I like to make sure they find more hornets nests inside the first one.
@Seraphim there are many good people who wear the uniform. While I personally feel that the best way to reduce world militarism is to take the tools of warmongering from the hands of politicians (who invariably have little to no skin in the fight), I accept that a military is a necessary thing and don’t have an in principle problem with a small, efficient military. Also, FWIW, my grandfathers served in WWII. One of them was shot in the ankle within a week of what would be the end of fighting and he spent the next 3-4 years in rehabilitation and the rest of his life applying ointment to his ankle every morning.
