CEO-to-worker wage gap yawns ever wider, hitting 312:1 in 2017, up by 17.6%

Ummmm… duh? When did CEO salaries begin rising through the roof while employee salaries flattened out? Right around the time Reagan took office and they began slashing taxes on the upper incomes, to the point it was worth it to get paid huge salaries instead of other forms of compensation. There is a cause/effect relationship that no one wants to address because everyone is a temporarily suffering million who will surely be making a hundred million dollars in salary every year any day now.

In other news, water is wet, pain hurts.
