A quick Google suggests that Oz dentistry prices are roughly on par with Mexico (AKA <20% of the US price).
And, for once, this isn’t obviously about socialised medicine; Australia’s single-payer taxpayer-funded healthcare doesn’t cover dentistry.
I suspect that the USA’s profit-based-healthcare bastardry is still responsible for the difference, though.
