As I’m not afraid of getting hijacked by some underground agency, I tinkered around a bit with Cicada’s 2012 clues (to get up to speed before tackling the current ones).
But, while they are fun, and quite challenging, I would suggest not to waste your time with them, as lots of resources that are part of these clues (phone numbers, websites) are not functional anymore, and you will end up either being stuck, or having to look up the solutions from people who’ve done them previously.
(So, whoever is behind this, seems to have a rather limited budget — if they can’t afford to keep a phone number or a website up for two years…)
